A Windows Phone update should land shortly for Nokia Lumia 710 and 800devices as promised earlier by the manufacturer. The targeted release date for these updates should be today as it is scheduled to go out “globally from June 27^th in a phased update through Zune”.

As a reminder, the refresh should bring three important things to your Lumia 71- and Lumia 800: internet sharing (to turn your phone into a wireless hotspot for up to five devices), flip your phone over to silence an incoming call and the ability to install exclusive new applications available in the Windows Phone Marketplace (Camera Extras, Counters, Contact share, and more).
