So far Microsoft is silent on Apollo, and made no statements andon whether the current smartphones WP will receive updates to the new version when it becomes available later this year. The main unknowns are on track to disperse in June - according to information on Mary-Jo Foley of ZDnet then Microsoft will highlight the authors of the applications for the new platform capabilities. And not only that - according to other sources of Neowin site in a month the U.S. company will present the Apollo in full.We he first announced to be particularly interesting because as far as the famous WP will share many components with Windows 8.

well i dont know about this .. it look pretty decent for teenagers. and are those cameras? whats that for ? for 3D video calls ??
this phone is not advisable for young users . i think this is for business.
Very good!We look forward!:)
We need Apollo for 1-st and 2-nd gen WP-phones!
i am wating for this
MS already stated couple of times that current phones on the market would not be supported by WP8, and that they are single core was mentioned as one of the reasons… that is a pitty for Lumia as they are fresh on the market and will basically become outdated so soon, I could expect that nokia has under the table a compatible phone in the same body to put same day on the market when WP8 is there.
Can HTC HD7 update to WP8?
WP8 can upgade on nokia lumia 710
WP8 can upgrade to nokia umia 710
@hmmm,
Could you mention your sources? People are fighting over this subject on hundreds of forums, so I’m really curious where yout think you got this info…
WOULD BE GREAT, when i have WP7.5, update it & i have WINDOWS 8 :0

can i update my windows 7.5 mango samsung omnia w to windows 8 mobile edition?
@hmm, while that is a likely scenario to happen, it has actually never been officially stated by MS. There has been just as many “statements” supporting the notion of an upgrade to WP8 for current devices, but still nothing official. Just rumors.
can Samsung Omnia W update to WP 8??? please tell me admin.
I don’t like it. The tiles look like icons now and are too small
You could fit over twice as many tiles without all that wasted blank space.
Also, I don’t like how it is side scrooling. The vertical scrolling home screen is much easier to use.
Lumia 900.
Please kindly make some improvements:
1. Nokia Drive – add possibility to save current location!
2. Nokia Drive – add possibility to add Favourite locations.
3. Nokia Drive & Nokia Maps – make them interconnected when both applications are open (exchange Favourites, switch from Maps to Drive when setting destination).
4. Nokia Drive – add possibility to make destination search in Google (like in NavFree for iPhone for example, check the competitors solutions, sometimes there is a lot to learn)! There I need only to enter company name and it gives me its address as location and I can start navigation to it!
5. Nokia Drive – ADD SPEED CAMERAS & ALERT FOR THEM!!!!!! At least for Finland and Scandinavia! Come on, this is so obvious flaw on newest phone!!!!
6. Nokia Drive – add possibility to choose from different routes!!!! Often the phone is giving extremely inconvenient route to the desired location!
7. Nokia Drive – add Route Overview function to have possibility to check route before starting to navigate!!!!
8. General – make it possible to close application easily! Now I have to punch “Back Key” several times to close program of application… Very inconvenient!!!!
9. General – make separate application where it will be possible to turn Off of On all communications: GSM, GPS, Location, Bluetooth, WiFi, Hotspot (internet sharing), etc. Don’t tell me that it can be done in “Settings” – you can barely see if they are on or off and this whole application is total mess. Make nice visible and simple switches!
10. SIM card tray – make it more reliable!!!!!! The salesperson who sold me the phone, bended the lock mechanism in the tray in the first time he entered a SIM in it!!!! Make it from metal as on iPhone or something!!!!
11. Calendar – ADD WEEK NUMBERS!!!!! It is so simple…
12. Messaging – add FORWARD function to messages! I know it is possible to copy/paste, but it is so inconvenient…
13. General – ADD ESTONIAN LANGUAGE to keyboards and make this system work more fluently. When entering text, too often phone changes to wrong word!!!!
14. Battery – add battery % by the battery sign!!!! Now it is impossible to understand how much charge is left! And considering extremely bad battery time it is a HUGE problem!!!!
15. General – MAKE A WORKING PC CONNECTION TO SYNCHRONIZE WITH OUTLOOK!!!!!!! Nokia Communicator E90 had EXCELLENT soft for that. I am sure that you are able to check it and make same or even better!!!!!
I paid 540 € for this phone and I DO NOT WANT TO PAY MORE to third parties to make MS Windows Outlook to work with Windows Phone!!!!! IT IS SOOOOO STUPID!!!!!!!
16. Settings – make it possible to use as a ringtone (and alarm, and message tone etc.) any music from the Music installed on the phone!!!!! That is just one string to add to code… Come on! And it is working on most phones in the market!!!!!
17. Settings – add “ascending” possibility to ringtones!!!!
18. General – location of the key on screen to switch between start screen and apps menu… Please make it adjustable, now it is positioned AWFULLY!!!!
3 face cameras, cool
Nokia Windows phone needs many more improvements. I am fed up with this phone.
Such a bad phone with awesome look. zzz
WP8 can upgrade to nokia umia 710
I agree wholeheartedly. I’ve noetcid in my personal business as well as at school that I am pushing and receiving information on the fly more and more frequently. A fellow student recently approached me and asked to get a copy of my notes from class. I opened the Dropbox app on my smartphone, navigated to the file, and zipped it off to her in an email! The file wasn’t downloaded or created on my phone.I’ve also used remote access applications on my smartphone to troubleshoot computer issues for personal clients while being away from my laptop and a few hours from home.I think the comsumerization of IT is drastically changing the way tech savvy people collaborate and work together in nearly all aspects of life, and I for one love it!
lumıa800 neden hala türkiyede yok ?
